Who We Are

Jefferson Southern Corporation (JSC) is an American stamping and welding assembly manufacturer located in Rockmart, Georgia. Founded in 2001, JSC is a Tier 1 automotive supplier and a proud subsidiary of G-TEKT Corporation, one of the most successful automotive manufacturing companies in the world.

We are part of the North American J-Group, a network of manufacturing operations in Georgia (Rockmart), Ohio (West Jefferson), and Canada (Elora, Ontario) that collectively deliver world-class components to the automotive industry.

What We Do

JSC produces integrated assemblies through the use of stamping, robotic welding, and internal coordination of related parts production via process control and logistics management. As a high-quality manufacturer of automotive structural supports and white body components, we supply parts to leading Fortune 500 companies — including our primary customer, Honda Manufacturing Alabama — for use in their world-renowned vehicles including the Honda Odyssey, Honda Pilot, and Honda Ridgeline.

Our parts are not always visible after a vehicle rolls off the line, but they are vital to the strength, safety, and performance of every car we contribute to.

2001 — JSC Breaks Ground in Georgia Jefferson Southern Corporation was established in Rockmart, Georgia as a Tier 1 automotive stamping and welding supplier. From day one, JSC set out to meet the demanding quality standards of the world’s top automakers, building a reputation for precision, reliability, and commitment to the local community.

Early Growth JSC quickly grew its capabilities and customer base, investing in progressive and transfer press technology and expanding its robotic welding operations. Our dedication to Just-In-Time delivery and rigorous quality control established us as a dependable partner in the global automotive supply chain.

Expansion & Investment Recognizing the growing demands of the automotive industry, JSC expanded its production facility with tens of thousands of additional square feet, new presses, and an expanded recycling system — creating dozens of new jobs for the Rockmart community and surrounding Polk County area.

Today — Part of a Global Network JSC continues to grow as a member of the G-TEKT Corporation global family. We remain deeply rooted in the Rockmart community while maintaining our place in an international manufacturing network spanning North America, Japan, and beyond.
